Research at the University of California-Davis School of Medicine will receive a boost in funding, thanks to a $1.6 million grant awarded as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Californian veterans attending high-end schools receive boost in tuition aid

A deal was made this month between the State of California and theDepartment of Veterans Affairs, ensuring that veterans attending bothpublic and private universities will receive their tuition supportaccording to the new GI Bill. The DVA says the bill allows veterans to concentrate on their studies instead of worrying about loans or balancing work and school.
