UCLA surgeon fired from executive director position

Jeffrey Wang, an associate professor of orthopedic surgery, has been fired from his position as executive co-director of the UCLA Comprehensive Spine Center while the university investigates charges of misconduct.

The university announced today that Undie Run, UCLA’s final-week tradition, has been canceled following campus administrators’ safety concerns.

UCLA, Pac-10 football have reason for optimism
