NBA age limit draws Tennessee lawmaker's ire

It’s rare that Memphis lawmakers make the news for something good. But now, Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen is asking to meet with NBA officials to discuss the 19-or-older age requirement the league compels players to follow.

Atheist campaign to run ads on Bloomington buses

From the beginning, the Indiana Atheist Bus Campaign said it knew it was going to win the fight against the Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation. After two months, the campaign was given the OK to run the ad “You Can Be Good Without God.”

Indiana U. continues with employee bonus plan

Indiana University will continue with its plan to distribute up to $500 per person to faculty and staff making less than $30,000 a year despite a meeting between IU officials and union leaders July 31.
