For others - particularly students at Boston College - that last sighting came off the field. Maybe Herzlich was doing volunteer work. Maybe he was receiving an athletic or academic award. Or maybe he was just walking around campus, with the charisma of someone who had become the face of the athletic department, the poster boy for success as a student-athlete at Boston College.
