First case of swine flu reported on U. Southern Mississippi-Hattiesburg campus

University of Southern Mississippi health officials confirmed Monday the first case of swine flu on its Hattiesburg campus. Onecase of the virus -- known officially as the novel H1N1 flu -- has beenreported so far, but a press release Aug. 12 indicated that students,faculty and staff should take precautions to prevent the spread ofillness on campus.
