Ohio University faculty member Gerardine Botte has recently released technology that she hopes will change the world, and it involves urine.

Ohio U. sophomore pleads not guilty in fatal fall

A sophomore charged with supplying drugs that led to another student's death pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday. Prosecutors said 20-year-old James "Tyler" Wagers, of Mansfield, committed involuntary manslaughter when he provided hallucinogenic mushrooms to Eric Hansen. Hansen later fell from his Weld Hall dorm window in April while using the drugs. He was 20 at the time of his death.

Ohio U. prof's defamation suit denied

An "emotional and passionate" investigative report on an Ohio University plagiarism scandal was personal opinion and did not defame a former professor, a state judge ruled Tuesday.
