Oregon Opportunity Grant funds drop as need rises

Oregon's largest state-funded, need-based grant program, the Oregon Opportunity Grant, assists financially needy Oregon college students use in order to pay for their postsecondary education. As announced at the beginning of August, the OOG will only be able generate $55 million worth of funds to over 113,000 eligible Oregonian college students.
